Kilbo Path

(Glen Doll to Kilbo, Glenmarkie or Kirkton of Glenisla)

 

Distance: Up to 22km/13miles, 885m ascent

Walk Duration: Up to 8˝hrs
Spaces: Maximum 10, minimum 3.
Notes: Extremely Strenuous.  Hillwalking gear required. Packed lunch (and snacks) required.

The first part of this walk takes us from Glen Doll to Kilbo via the bealach at 825m asl, which lies between Driesh and Mayar.  From here a variety of finish options are available.  The easiest and shortest from Kilbo to the road head at Glen Prosen (13.4km/625m/5˝hrs), or with a finish at Glenmarkie (16.5km/830m/7hrs) or onwards to Kirkton of Glenisla (22.0km/885m/8˝hrs).
