Three
Munros in one trip! This walk starts from Baddoch, in Glen Clunie, and
ascends the northern ridge towards Carn Aosda (917). From here it follows
the track around the western rim of the ski centre and climbs The Cairnwell (933m)
more properly known as An Carn Bhalg,
another Munro but with the dubious distinction of being the highest radio
transmitter site in Britain. The route doubles back on itself towards Loch Vrotachan but continues south west taking in the 920m top of Carn nan Sac before
reaching Carn a Gheoidh (975m). Once reaching this high point we travel
south and descend into Gleann Taitneach before reaching our final destination at
the Dalmunzie Hotel.
